Abstract

Numerical modeling is a powerful technique for the solution of complex engineering problems. The finite element method is the most used in engineering computations.This talk is concerned with some computational aspects in solid mechanics:

 

·       Numerical modeling of contact with isotropic or orthotropic friction

·       Numerical modeling of impact problems between deformable bodies

·       Large deformation of hyperelastic or elasto-plastic materials

·       Software development involving pre-processing and post-processing

·       Modelling in bio-mechanics

·       Physics-based real time simulation.

 

A lot of numerical examples will be given to demonstrate the developed algorithms and software.
