摘要:

Space structures engineering to treat various structural hardware in orbit, between orbits, and on moon and planet surfaces is summarized. Deployable space structures and recent gossamer spacecraft systems to aim to realize light space structure systems are introduced, and basic behaviors of their systems and of their component elements such as ables and membranes are presented. Concepts of adaptability in things-in-nature and artifacts and their applications to space structure systems are introduced, and future direction of those researches is also shown.
